Reflecting on an Inspiring Week at The View for #LCAW2025

Last month, The View at The Royal College of Surgeons had the honour of hosting a remarkable series of events during London Climate Action Week 2025 — and we’re still feeling the momentum!

We were especially proud to welcome Climate Arc and their partners, including Climate Works Foundation, for a week of dynamic engagements, culminating in their flagship workshop, More than Metrics.

Our spaces came alive with energy, insight, and collaboration as leading voices from across the climate transition ecosystem gathered to grapple with some of the most urgent and complex challenges facing the planet. It’s always a privilege for us to provide a setting for such forward-thinking discussions, and this event was no exception.

Over the course of the week, sessions tackled a diverse range of topics, including:

🔹 Localized Pathways – Addressing how real-world regional differences can shape transition strategies.
🔹 Corporate vs. National Transition Plans – Investigating the interplay between business strategies and national climate goals.
🔹 Redefining Climate Governance – Rethinking what credible governance looks like in the context of corporate climate transitions.
🔹 Food & Agriculture Pathways – Assessing progress in sectors deeply tied to nature, health, and equity.
🔹 Financial Institutions – Exploring benchmarks for meaningful climate action in the finance world.
🔹 Physical Risk, Adaptation & Resilience – Ensuring these factors are core to transition planning.
🔹 The Climate Data Ecosystem – Advancing how we gather, share, and apply data to drive impactful climate action.

Each session brought together experts, innovators, and changemakers in an atmosphere of true collaboration and ambition. It was inspiring to see our venue transformed into a hub of dialogue, learning, and shared purpose.

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our trusted photography partner, Mathias, whose incredible images captured the spirit of the event so perfectly. His work preserves the energy of the week in vivid detail, offering a lasting snapshot of an unforgettable series of moments.

Hosting events like this is why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone who brought their passion and expertise to The View during LCAW2025 — we are proud to have played a part in such an impactful week.
